Anyone getting this game?

ohai pre-order. A bit disappointing compared to the FM3 collectors eiditon, but i suppose its onpar with the fm2 one.

I wasn't going to buy this because I've got Forza 3, but then I saw the Bugatti's spoiler pop out of the boot and now I'm sold.

Thats not all... theyve got exaust flames and headtracking and a completely new lighting and rendering engine and tons more new shit...

As awesome as head tracking is I'm not about to spend £100 on a kinect just for Forza, because theres literally no other reason to get one. Apart from that if I was going to buy head tracking stuff I'd buy a Track IR for my PC.

ill be getting it simply because im getting a new xbox and it usually comes with the deal nowadays...

I don't doubt I'll get it, it's by far the best racing game around. I ended up buying the last three games on impulse when I saw them in shops. It's always a reliably enjoyable way to waste some time but it's hard to get excited about racing games in general because you know there are going to be so few surprises.

It's not like Mass Effect 3 where I'm itching to know how the story ends and what changes they are going to make and who the new companions are going to be (gief back Tali). With Forza 4 you know exactly what you are getting, a slightly prettier version of Forza 3 with some new tracks and cars. The only exciting thing is the Kinect stuff and since I have no plans to buy a kinect it's a little lost on me.

heh... i meant the kinect thingy... it usually comes with the xbox these days so ill get one...

forza 4 is different... im actually getting an xbox just to play it... i loved forza 1 and 2, and the only reason forza 3 failed for me was the stupid way they implemented multiplayer (as if it was a shooter or something) so i gave up on it for APB... (great move that).
But now that you can make your own lobbies again im definately going for forza 4.

Nice to see that theyve focused more on old musclecar classics as well... since thats what i mostly race (yes, competetively on track with other modern cars... and not by making missiles, i make grip-tuned musclecars)

Oh, I don't use Xbox Live so I never had an issue with 3. All my Xbox multiplayer gaming is done with split screens and system links.

Was thinking about buying a damn xbox just for, well... Not the game, but the Top Gear part of it!

Yea, like in GT5 there will be some Top Gear challenges. Though in FM4 those will me much more awesome. Challenges like a game of car football with some Toyota Yaris'
