If nothing else "Cross Platform" would make me buy this i guess. To show them Console Faggots they stand no chance. Rape them for as long as it takes to make them buy a PC!

I likes 1,6 for being simple. I liked souce for being somewhat simple but with better graphics and better physics. But that looks too good :b

Re: Counter-strike: Global Offensive
id just like to point this out before you all get dissapointed in your own assumptions. but AT NO POINT did they say you could play on pc against consoles in this game (Microsoft just wouldn't allow it) they just said it would be multi-platform. i can pretty much guarantee you wont be able to play against the console gamers from your pc.....

They did indeed say cross platform. And in interviews they have also said specifically that they aim to let people on different platforms play eachother. If Microsoft is gonna be a part of that remains to be seen.Arkonios wrote:id just like to point this out before you all get dissapointed in your own assumptions. but AT NO POINT did they say you could play on pc against consoles in this game (Microsoft just wouldn't allow it) they just said it would be multi-platform. i can pretty much guarantee you wont be able to play against the console gamers from your pc.....

i just seen this game and watched the trailer and how flashy the new game looks but it doesn't look that good at all i mean how long did it take them to do this and you only get a few more maps and more weapons since source came out. Like common seriously this isnt that good the only reason there probably updating this game is to keep up with the rest of the developers i would of expected something a little better then a flashy graphics engine.

Re: Counter-strike: Global Offensive
I'm a bit disappointed as well. Graphics could be better considering we are in 2011, though that's of course not the selling point of Counter-Strike.
What annoys me more is how bad the weapons look. Why did they have to change the designs/use different weapons?
By the way, I really wonder why they bring out a new Counter-Strike.
The gameplay is what Counter-Strike makes so good and I don't see why you should release a new version of it unless you change the gameplay. And if they do, they shouldn't release it at all.
Counter-Strike is good how it is. Cs:s wasn't a bad addition(although a lot think so)with it's different recoil system, but I don't think we need any more gameplay variation apart from that.
They should just update the graphics of 1.6 and then we probably don't even need Css.

they are supposedly changing gameplay mechanics slightly vest and helmet essentially being free and worn by everyone was one thing also heard it was somewhat harder to pull of the constant headshots

The weapon models could be place holders. :b
